Great Lakes Adaptation Forum

Professor Ozayr Saloojee, with c-url partners, Karen Lutsky (University of Minnesota) and Jamie Vanucchi (Cornell University) presented collaborative work related to the Great Lakes Design Labs at the Great Lakes Adaptation Forum held at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, in September 2018.  Their presentation “Great Lakes Design Labs: Designing with Change,” was part of the Beyond Borders Track which focused on transboundary adaptation planning and action. The speakers highlighted cooperation among the United States, Canada, and Indigenous Peoples; strategies for addressing multi-jurisdictional issues; establishing and advancing regional governance; innovative partnerships; and bridging local action to a larger scale.
