‘Permanence in Waiting’

Professor Bonier reflects on the importance of Professor David Leatherbarrow as a mentor and teacher, in a talk titled ‘Permanence in Waiting.’ The title draws on David’s essay “Unscripted Performances,” in which he builds upon Jean-Luc Marion’s idea of «permanence dans l’attente». This conversation took place in Spring of 2022 as a part Constructions and Locations, a festschrift celebration at the University of Pennsylvania’s Fisher Fine Arts Library.
