In December this year, Professor Saloojee served as a design critic for the “Third Coast Studio,” a collaborative 3rd year graduate design studio in Landscape Architecture and Architecture. Directed by Professor Karen Lutsky (University of Minnesota Landscape Architecture, Great Lakes Design Labs), Professor Marc Swackhamer (Head of the School of Architecture) and Professor Blaine Brownell (Director of Graduate Studies at the School of Architecture), the studio focused on Belle Isle in Detroit and each project centred around an invasive species and the landscape, water and architectural implications of a future for the island.
